About the Screen Recorder

This free online screen recorder uses the browser's built-in Screen Capture API (getDisplayMedia) to record your screen without any software installation. You can capture your entire display, a specific application window or a single browser tab.

Recordings are stored temporarily in browser memory and are never transmitted to any server. Once stopped, you can preview the recording and download it as a WebM file compatible with all modern video players and editors.

Common uses include creating software tutorials, recording video calls, capturing gameplay, or saving a presentation walkthrough.

Recording duration is limited only by your device's available memory. For very long recordings (over 30 minutes) we recommend a dedicated desktop application to avoid running out of browser memory.

WebM plays in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and VLC. To convert to MP4, use a free tool like HandBrake or CloudConvert after downloading.
