About the Image Blur Tool
ToolZeel's Image Blur tool allows you to selectively blur parts of an image by drawing rectangles over the areas you want to obscure. This is useful for privacy protection — blurring faces in photos, hiding license plates, redacting sensitive documents, or censoring personal information before sharing online.
Choose between Gaussian blur (smooth, natural-looking blur) or Pixelate (mosaic/censor effect). You can draw multiple regions, undo the last one, and download the final image as a PNG file. Everything runs in your browser via the Canvas API.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. All blur processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
Gaussian blur creates a smooth, out-of-focus effect. Pixelate creates a mosaic/censor-bar appearance by averaging blocks of pixels. Both obscure the content effectively.
